Our engineers play a key role in supporting the Engineering & Design Department of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and many other major companies, highlighting our significant
presence in this domain.
Formerly, we were a GES Contractor until 2000, and as per Aramco’s direction, we merged to form
SOFCON, which led to the rebranding of our entity. In 2014, SOFCON entered into a joint venture with Foster Wheeler Energy, and subsequently, it became part of Amec Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. Later,
Amec FWAPEC was acquired the Wood Group, forming what is now known as the Wood Group.
